Category Archives: Love Lessons

Perplexed about why you keep experiencing the same relationship patterns with the same person but in a different package? If so, your love lessons are calling for you to listen.

You know, that nagging feeling that you’re doing most of the work in your relationships, settling for second best, although you know deep inside you deserve better.

Or, maybe you keep choosing dating and relationship partners that eerily remind you of a parental figure like your mom or pops?

Our attachments have their origins in our formative years. If weren’t consistently treated as valued, we can go on about life and internalize this message.

We often inadvertently seek to confirm or disconfirm our beliefs about ourselves, people, and life. Just as water seeks its own level, our beliefs will do the same; they will influence how we behave in our relationships, making them a reality.

When you enter the ring of romance, if those beliefs are unhelpful and dysfunctional, this sets the stage for pain in our relationships. This can also apply to friendships.

Underneath the pain, heartbreaks, rejections, and disappointments from your failures with partners are vital love lessons to learn for our growth.

If we heed, we can learn how to rewire our relationship template from dysfunctional to functional so we can eventually heal and grow into experiencing healthy love without working so hard to win the “prize.”

You don’t have to stay stuck in unhealthy patterns. Look for the lesson in the pain and get ready to heal and grow! Cheers to love’s education! You got this!  I hope you enjoy the content in this category!
